The "Ew" factor—Recycling Event

We usually associate "ew" with something that smells bad. Bad smells are good, in a way ~ they connote decay, Nature's way of recycling. While no application of microbes and moisture will induce your old VCR to rot, there is a way to properly recycle it and other ewaste ~ thus reducing the "ew" factor.

Start now looking in your garage, basement, attic and closets for outdated TVs, computers, stereos, phones and other electronic equipment. Then, on the morning of April 22, Earth Day, bring them to the University of Utah for a massive recycling event.
